Why Repair?

Every year, millions of items are discarded simply because they’re broken, even though many could be repaired. Repair Cafés help:

How It Works

  1. Bring Your Item: Drop in during our scheduled Repair Cafe events with your broken or damaged item.
  2. Collaborate on the Repair: Work alongside our skilled volunteers to fix the item together.
  3. Learn and Connect: Ask questions, pick up new skills, and enjoy connecting with others in the community.

Where and When

The Nelson Repair Cafe is hosting our first event on July 5th 2025 at the Nelson District Rod & Gun Club. In the future, we would aim for regular events throughout the year at convenient locations in Nelson. Check out our website for any upcoming events.
